Bailey 1640B Safety Relief Valve
We are proud to introduce our latest addition to the Bailey Standard Series
Range – the Bailey 1640B.
The 1640B is an inexpensive, bronze relief valve suitable for relieving excess
pressures of water, oil, air, gases / steam and supersedes the Bailey 1640A.
The valve is usually used for pipeline and thermal relief applications.
The body and trim material of the 1640B is bronze, ranging from DN15 to
DN100 in size.

CE Marking
The 1640B is CE marked and has been certified to the requirements of the
PED. Set pressures below 0.5 barg do not require certification and hence
cannot be certified.
